Heirloom: The Estate Is Not For Sale

Heirloom: The Estate Is Not For Sale

An heirloom is more than just an object—it’s a story, a legacy, and a connection passed through generations. This February, join Detroit’s Handy Woman, Trice Clark, as she transforms Talking Dolls Studio into a space reminiscent of a grandmother’s home, filled with jewelry, furniture, photographs, and more.

As we celebrate Black History Month, this intimate exhibition honors the timeless truth that family history is Black history.

Opening Reception: Saturday, February 8th, 6-8 PM
Talking Dolls Studio

The exhibit will be on view from 2/8/25 to 2/16/25 by appointment.

Come reflect on the stories, values, and creativity that shape our legacies.
